Last week was an exciting opportunity to learn about the latest discoveries at the Gordon Research Conference on the Biology of Acute Respiratory Infection. The meeting showcased an outstanding lineup of speakers and topics, and the chairs, Janet Lee and Scott Evans, did a fantastic job bringing together a truly engaging and thought-provoking program.
Beyond the excellent science, it was wonderful to reconnect with longtime colleagues and meet new members and future collaborators of this vibrant research community. Conferences like this remind us how important collaboration and open discussion are for pushing our field forward.
Now it’s time to bring those new ideas back to the lab, put them into practice, and continue the conversations with both old and new collaborators. Looking forward to seeing how these discussions shape the next wave of discoveries and already excited for the next meeting in two years!!
