After a very busy month filled with deadlines and exciting news, it is time to say goodbye to Paula. It’s hard to believe that three months have passed so quickly. During her time in the lab, she worked incredibly hard and generated valuable data that will contribute to upcoming publications.

As she begins her next chapter, starting her PhD in a new lab, I have no doubt she will continue to do outstanding work. While we are sad to see her go, there will always be a place for her here, and we look forward to seeing all that she accomplishes.

At the same time, we are excited to welcome new energy. Please join me in welcoming our new interns, Male and Sofi, who will be working at LSU Health Shreveport over the coming months. I am looking forward to seeing their ideas develop and the contributions they will bring.
