It is sad to say goodbye to our amazing summer students. Luckily, they will still come back during the year. Great job Emily!!!! I am so lucky to have you in the lab
After welcoming Paula a couple of weeks ago, she has already experienced so much in the lab. From her first snowfall to her first lung staining, it’s been exciting to watch her adapt so quickly. This week, we wrapped up with a beautiful lung staining of an iBALT. Now it’s time to start exploring adding novel antibodies that will help her further develop her work. Great progress and great work!
After four days, the snow is finally melting, and we’re lucky to receive a beautiful gift from Mother Nature, a truly marvelous sky. Take a moment to look up this evening, and you just might catch a glimpse of what we were fortunate enough to see yesterday.
As the new year begins, we are excited to start our transition into our new lab space. Full of energy, color, and enthusiasm, we are ready to make the most of 2026. We are also thrilled to welcome Paula, our visiting intern for the next three months, who is eager to begin experiments and dive into exciting new science. As we move forward, we will continue advancing our work on Bordetella, focusing on eosinophils, airway tolerance, host responses, and disease exacerbation. Her
